15U CC New Zealand Baseball Team 2009 will be coming to the MCYSA/USSSA Summer International Championships
The McHenry County Youth Sports Association (MCYSA) is excited to announce that the 15U CC New Zealand Baseball Team 2009 will be coming to the MCYSA/USSSA Summer International Championships which will be held in Crystal Lake, Woodstock, Cary and LITH this summer in late July and early August. |

Qualified students may apply for the Justin Schroeder Memorial MCYSA Student/Athlete Achievement Award by completing the questionnaire and submitting it to the MCYSA Selection Committee. |

The McHenry County Youth Sports Association (MCYSA) is pleased to announce that Larry Freck has agreed to join the board of directors of the not-for-profit organization. MCYSA has hosted the annual youth baseball Summer International Championships for the past 16 years in Crystal Lake and surrounding communities. |

The McHenry County Youth Sports Association (MCYSA) is pleased to announce that the Cary Travelers Youth Baseball organization has accepted a spot as a 15U Host Team for the 2009 MCYSA/USSSA 15U Summer International Championships which will be hosted this summer in Crystal Lake, Cary, Woodstock and Algonquin, Illinois beginning July 24 and continuing until August 2, 2009. |

Team Japan Commits to MCYSA/USSSA Crystal Lake

City of Crystal Lake Announces Hotel Tax Funding
The City of Crystal Lake City Council voted on the 2008 Hotel Tax funding recipients at the regular City Council meeting held on February 19, 2008. The McHenry County Youth Sports Association (MCYSA) the parent organization of the annual summer youth baseball championships held at Lippold Park and other
locations, is very pleased to announce that they have been awarded $55,000.00 in funding for marketing, promotional and web site improvements for the 2008 USSSA 15U, 11U and 9U Open Summer National Championship tournaments and the USSSA 13U and 10U National Invitational Championships which will
be held July 26th - August 3rd in Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Cary and Woodstock. |

Crystal Lake Babe Ruth wins big in Florida
Crystal Lake Babe Ruth took first place in the 16U division of Disney's New Years Classic. This annual tournament brings together cold weather northern teams together with year round southern teams between the holidays. |
